October 12, Wait a second, Is Daren getting ready to race at this month's Bill Smith Invitational?
October 11, Getting in the water at VMAC! Kicking, a little pulling. Walking without the cane!
October, tutoring and accupuncture <ouch> getting stronger!
September 16! Finally, got the 20 pound halo off his head! 2 hours of tutoring, every other day - rehab.
September 1st, Finally, Daren is back home!
August 21st, Getting ready to head on home. Started school (tutoring). Walking with a cane!
August 7th, Going to White Plains Beach! Now up to 16 steps on his own!
July 31st, Daren takes a few steps on his own!!! Able to get into the rehab swim pool to cool off!
At the State Champs, the Kamehameha swimmers and swimmers from many other teams got together and bought Daren an iPAD (i'm, jealous). This has been a great rehab tool for Daren. Now, he's able to move both right and left hands. He is able to stand on his own-briefly, climb a few stairs, it's a miracle!
