SUBJ:               REVISION Online Testing Updates from 2007 to 2008 Rule Book

The Online Testing Sub-Committee is in the process of updating all tests and all questions in preparation for the implementation of the 2008 Rule Book.

The difference between this year and previous years is that we are making all of the changes LIVE!  As there are other software updates taking place it was not prudent for us to take the test site down for the next couple of weeks.

Due to some unforeseen implementation issues, the online test revisions are slightly behind schedule.

We ask that your officials refrain from taking any online tests until after May 19, 2008.

All tests will be updated and completed by May 19, 2008.

Included in the updates and the new software are the following:
1.       New online testing updates available no later than May 19th.

• Many old and troublesome questions have been deactivated.
• 18 new questions have been added.
• Corrections to questions and references made to correlate with the 2008 Rule Book.

2.       Online testing updates include:

• Confirmation Field for LSC selection.
• Instructor Field for adding the name of the clinic trainer, presenter or instructor.
• New test scoring. Questions and references will be scored separately with an overall total score.
